“Look, up in the sky. It’s a bird. It’s a plane. It’s Superman!” yelled by spectators when they saw our greatest superhero flying above the tallest building in a single bound.

Will there be heroes greater than Superman? Will his power beat the super human intelligence of Batman? Or Wolverine’s gang sliced them both, burn them with laser and send them away by a powerful stormy wind?

As time past, many so called superheroes were created to save the human lives from destruction. Superman, Batman, The Superfriends, X-Men, Voltes V, Power Rangers among others are results of our search for truth and justice. They are created to make us aware of the injustices and lies that embraces the human kind. Their creation somehow gave us the hope to free us from evil works.

Will there be more of them to come? Will there be new super-duper hero? I’d say yes. As long as there are issues, problems and concerns there will always be one. As these problems, issues and concerns change or evolve over time there will be one. And it’s up to our creative, free-spirited mind to create one.

As I write this post, I am busy with this so called “Your Superhero versus My Superhero” game. I discovered this in some of my favorite blog artists who endlessly create new character by overpowering the other. New emerging power comes in and soon it will also be futile. That’s why it’s endless.

To share with you, below is the first superhero I created. I was having coffee in one of the coffee shop and was a bit pissed off by the dust on the table. What you get for free when you go Alfresco. Going back, my superhero does not have very super powerful abilities. But he has a very special talent – to dust off anything and everything. It will leave any surface clean. He comes to save us from allergy attacks due to dust. Ladies and gentlemen, my first superhero The FeatherDuster Man! (A warm of applause, please?)
